Weapons were created by Eon in order to protect the universe for their endurance, and Vaughn’s play as Quasar unlocked many secrets surrounding the weapon’s true potential. Gangs allow Quasar to manipulate energy and harness the unlimited power of the Quantum Zone that fans may remember from the MCU’s journey with Ant-Man. Quasar gets its strength from Quantum Bands fused to its wrists because they are loaded with powerful gemstones. The cosmic superhero has close relationships with heroes like Nova, and the character has some pretty impressive powers. This particular figure is based on the character of Wendell Vaughn. Wendell Vaughn, Phyla-Vell, Richard Rider, and Avril Kincaid have adopted the Quasar name over the years. Originally an X-Men character, Neutron adopted the Quasar moniker in 1990, but the superhero has undergone many iterations since then. Don Glott and Roy Thomas wrote The Cosmic Being, and fans came to know the man as Quasar.
If you’re unfamiliar, in January 1978, Captain America #217 introduced a character called Neutron to the Marvel Universe.
